Worked out great!
My dryer timer stopped advancing in the automatic cycles. In fact, one of the heating elements was broken and it had nothing to do with the timer at all.
After researching which part was needed, I ordered this heating element. This replacement fixed the problem. The directions are very good, and easy to follow. Getting the coils strung is a little tricky, but now the dyer works just fine.
My husband kept telling me to get a new dryer. But honestly, right now there are more things on which we need to spend the money. An inexpensive fix if you are wiling to attempt disassemble your dryer a bit. Downside is that I don't have a new dryer...

(5/15/13) My sister and I ordered this for our mother for Mothers day! I know I looked at all of them on here and read every single comment there was on all of them. I went with this one. I bought her all the ingredients to make the butter pecan ice cream recipe i got out of the ben and jerrys homemade ice cream book. It turned out so good!!! It worked just as it was supposed too. she was so happy. its not as loud as i thought it was going to be. i had read in some other comments that it was very loud. it has a light hum to it. nothing that cant be tolerated for 30 min. i would recommend this to anyone!~

Yes, cold base ingredients work best.... I've used frozen bananas in a couple creations.

Have purchased quart sized CHINESE TAKE-OUT boxes from my fav restaurant for $.25 per box; good for hardening the creations as well as storage while making a different batch. (cartons had no metal parts but held ice cream well; leak-proof)

This product exceeds expectation. We are vegan and store bought coconut ice cream is outrageously expensive. Now we make our own and have made mango sorbet, chocolate cherry ice cream, plain...it's all great! The texture is lovely. I do recommend freezing after churning for a more finished product. Enjoy!!

Waring Commercial WSB40 Quik Stik Plus Immersion Blender with 2-Speed Heavy-Duty Motor, 6-Gallon

Heavy duty blender
I purchased this blender to use in making soap so, unfortunately, I can't use it in "regular" kitchen food preparation. That said, it works GREAT in my large batches of soap and hasn't let me down so far. It's so powerful, that I really can't imagine using it in my everyday cooking as it would pulverize everything (hey, maybe that's a good thing ... ). Anyway, if you're looking for a blender that can handle just about any job, this is the one. (That said, I have to tell you that I found this blender for about $100 less at a "business Costco".)

Big Hand Blender with Long Cord
This hand blender is big, and comes with a 9-foot cord. Two things to beware of are that it has a commercial warranty, and that it's too big to fit the business end in a standard home-sized blender beaker. Please note the commercial warranty is void if the device is purchased for home use. Heeding that though, this hand blender is built like a troop carrier. It even has a nice safety feature, not common to the Waring line, that requires the user press two buttons simultaneously to start it and that the user hold the trigger button to keep it running. The other Waring commercial hand blenders keep running until you push a button, which isn't exactly as safe for the user. I'd buy this hand blender again even knowing I get no warranty as a home user. It'll probably last me 20 years. I didn't buy mine from Amazon, but I'd buy it again, just for the 9-foot cord.

The product will and does work as advertised, but people who consider this product should know that

It is not a genuine Waring product.

It's what they call a "sourced" product which means someone else makes it and they put the Waring Commercial name plate on it. Unlike the WSB50 and above products - the 35 and 40 CAN NOT BE REPAIRED. If they fail after the one year warranty they are essentially junk. No parts available, no repair shop, just disposable.

Considering that the entire Waring Commercial line... and in fact the very term "commercial" is supposed to mean that it will last for years and can be repaired as needed, this is a sad low of a once proud line of products.

Just imagine that the box and manual were to read "non repairable, disposable consumer product" and compare to other brands with that in mind.

Koblenz P-2600 Commercial Floor and Carpet Shampoo/Polisher.

Does the job
I bought this to clean my tile floors. It does the job well, and the machine is heavy duty, no plastic parts to worry about breaking. You do have to keep up with cleaning up the dirty water as you go, I use another floor cleaner I have that sucks up the water to do this. If the floor has not been cleaned in a while you do have to go over it several times to get it clean. I have a lot of tile, probably around 2,000 square feet of it, and it does take hours to cover it all. If I had the choice, I would buy a commercial grade machine that will also suck up the dirty water, however they start around $700.

Disappointing product
My husband recently bought this item as a replacement for our older Koblenz scrubber which was no longer working properly. I'm sorry to say this brand new scrubber didn't work any better than the broken one.

It seemed that Koblenz made several design changes to this scrubber, none of them good ones. I noticed right away that the cord was shorter, and the tank did not seem to fit into the scrubber as well as it used to. Additionally, this is advertised as a "Commercial" scrubber, but when I looked more closely, I saw that it actually said COMMERCIAL (in large letters) Technology for Home Use (in small letters beneath). Elsewhere on the scrubber, I saw that it said "for home use only." So this is NOT a commercial scrubber. This was worrisome, since we were buying the scrubber to use in our business, where I scrub the floors twice a week. So I was worried it would not hold up to the use it was going to get.

No elbow grease necessary!
My home is exclusively vinyl plank - looks just like wood/laminate, but is "soft" like vinyl. I've always vacuumed and mopped, but have been unhappy with a splotchy look for the past year. I got on my hands and knees with a scrub brush, but even a half-hour of scrubbing in my kitchen didn't make much of a difference. When I thought about how much time and energy the whole house would take, I gave up. Then I searched for a floor scrubber and found the Koblenz. After just 5 minutes' use in my kitchen, the floor was clean and the standing water was black. I knew the vinyl was probably dirty, I just didn't know it was THAT dirty. As other reviews mentioned, the standing water is an issue, but it would be an issue if I were on my hands and knees, too. Currently my strategy is to floor squeegee the dirty water into a pool, then I towel it up from one area. I'm not sure if this method is best, I may try a "mop it up" approach.

In any case, the Koblenz got the job done...

Frigidaire Kenmore Dishwasher Silverware Basket 154423901

Sturdy, good for families
We bought this to replace the original silverware basket in our Frigidaire ultra quiet plus dishwasher when ours finally broke. The small baskets on the sides are great if you have young kids with bottle parts/small silverware/etc since you can close them. Fit just fine, though it was a little longer than the original.

Fits and works!
Just what we needed to replace the old one that had gotten moldy and was beyond cleaning. It is nice!

DirtTamer® Ultima V2510 Cordless Wet/Dry Hand Vac

Very nice except for the HEPA filtration
I bought this vac after reading all the reviews I could find on it.. they all sounded very positive. One big reason for buying this model was that it has a HEPA filter, which is very important to us since we live in the dusty desert and have to deal with allergies as well.

The basic vac is pretty darn nice... it has a nice comfortable, balanced feel and pretty good suction. It has not run the battery down any time I have used it so far... seems pretty strong.

I immediately noticed two problems with the basic unit though, and did some 'engineering changes' to improve it:

(1) The on-off switch was almost impossible to operate using just one hand. It is a smooth, dished button that you have to slide with the thumb of the hand holding the handle. Good idea, except that it was so smooth that my thumg couldn't get a grip on it, especially to turn it off, so I would use my other hand to work the switch. I cured that problem by 'dimpling' the button with...

Super hand-held vac
DirtTamer Ultima 14.4V...V2510 Model. While looking for a replacement filter after using our vac for 3 years, I was surprised to see the poor reviews. Perhaps they were not the Ultima model. This has been an excellent vac for quick vaccuuming of bathroom and kitchen floors and especially our carpeted stairs. Compared to our previous Black and Decker DustBuster hand-held vacs, this is a dream. I am able to run it for a good 10 minutes without losing power. I have not tried it on wet surfaces. When this one goes, I will definitely purchase another.

Great Hand Vac!
I have owned the Ultima v2510 for at least 4 years. I have consistently used it at least once a week during that period. It is a very powerful hand vac, MUCH more powerful than my previous B&D Dustbuster. It is a bit on the loud side, but that's the price for good suction. About a year ago, I noticed that it began to die much more quickly than it used to. But I've solved this problem. Every few months, I let the unit completely discharge and then fully charge it again before use. This has given the unit new life, it is as powerful as ever. The batteries are NiCad and that is typical care for this type of battery--they must be occasionally fully discharged for longer useful life. There are replacement batteries available from Filterstream (go to their website, you'll see), but you should be able to get several years out of the original batteries, as I have. If you think the battery is not charging, take a multimeter, set it to "VDC" and measure the voltage at the charger...

Got this item under used but it said Like new / and it was i could not see where it was even taken out of the box,not a scratch looks great works great got it for a steal at $55.34 with free shipping,best buy this year to date better then the duraflame i bought for $139.00 that didnt look anything like the picture.
There was one thing i had to do to it there was an area that was rubbing probably happened in transit,just took the back off seen where it moved and put it back took me less than 15 mins. and the rubbing sound was gone it was hardly noticeable to begin with.
Has to on and off switches one for heat and one for flame display also has a knob for the thermostat there is no way to adjust the flam display from little flame to a lot of flame but its set perfect the light display is better then others i have seen where the flame looks like it breaks apart from the fire and logs and floats away.

You get what you pay for.....
Whoever shipped this product was remiss in several areas: It was poorly packed, not enough protection. The outer box was not marked "fragile" ( which it is) or "this side up" ( which it should have been). A part of the log fixture broke off, and was rattling around in the box; several fragments broke off, though it is somewhat still useable. The spinning fixture kept bumping into the plastic in front of the log, and would stop completely. With a little tinkering, my husband was able to make it operable, but he should not have had to do this. Also, one of the doors was broken off, possibly in transit.

Lasko 3016 16' Oscillating Wall Mount Fan

I almost didn't buy this because one reviewer wrote it could not be adjusted in anyway. I was pleased during installation to find a cap that easily popped off to reveal a screw that can be loosened to change the angle of the fan. I needed to mount it high and point the fan down slightly. No problem! I also needed to adjust the range of oscillation from dead center to the left slightly, and found another screw that enabled this kind of adjustment. After loosening it slightly, I moved the fan to the left, heard a ratchet-click, then tightened. Presto! This fan is perfect!

Excellent product!
The 16 inch fan keeps the air circulating better than a ceiling fan. In warmer weather with the fan going and the windows open the apartment is pleasantly cool and comfortable. I live in the Pacific NW and have a large studio apartment. It keeps the entire living, dining area very comfortable. I've ordered an second one for the kitchen area.It is extremely quiet and efficient. Being wall mounted just below ceiling level,the air from it will not blow directly on your food cooling it quickly as a ceiling fan would. Storage is unnecessary, it remains on the wall year round leaving floor space free, with no cords to trip over. Great product and great price!

Bad experience.
I bought 2 of these (model 3016) fans. I thought the 1st one was just a bad apple. However both of them had blades that were out of balance. This made them vibrate, and when you hung them on the wall the whole wall vibrated, loudly. This is poor workmanship and or quality control. I went with another brand.

Did not do the job.
These really don't work well for me. Not worth sending back, but they just don't cover the entire area, and they get stuff all under them, so really, now you have 2 things to clean. I think that it might keep some of it off the stove, but really, not worth getting. You can get the foil ones that do a better job at Walmart or Target, but I wanted them to be black, so I tried these. They are just too small and don't do the job. The circle in the middle around the flame area is also just too big, so whatever over boils or happens, just gets all under the pans.

Great Northern Premium Quality Ice Cub Shaved Ice Machine Commercial Ice Shaver

Better than expected for casual use. Great Price!
We have a Swan, a Hatsuyuki, and this Great Northern shaver. Although it isn't as heavy duty as the others, it still has stood up to some busy use when we needed it as a backup. It does not come with a foot-pedal but it will work with one you can buy separately. It makes a good clean shave and holds a block well. We have only been using it for a month but have had no trouble with it. Our Hatsuyuki (that we paid 6 times the price for) has been nothing but trouble and I would not recommend it.

Get a Swan for Heavy duty use and the Great Northern for casual use. Just a recommendation from the people who use them everyday! This model is a great product for the price! If you plan on using this a lot. Get a foot pedal!

For casual, at home use, freeze ice in a gallon or half-gallon ice cream bucket and you will have the perfect shape ice block for making amazing shaved ice treats! where you get your flavors is up to you.

Better Than Matsumoto's!
I went to Hawaii with my family a few weeks ago, and my wife was on a mission to find the best shave ice, better than some she had on Maui last year that she claimed was unbelievable. We hit all the top spots on Oahu, e.g. Matsumoto's, Waiola, etc. I wasn't blown away by any of them. Not having had the magical shave ice she had last year, I thought shave ice was shave ice was shave ice.

Then tonight we fired up this machine after it arrived today, and I finally get it. As fluffy as fresh Utah powder as it falls, and the texture in your mouth is more creamy than crystalline. I was laughing out loud at how good it was.

Can't speak for durability or anything, but it seems to be very well built and the quality of shave ice is absolutely stupendous.

Best part on the market!
My dishwasher leaked (flooded) out the front. Thanks to on-line videos and tutorials, I finally determined that it was the fill valve. Other than it being in a confined space, this part was a dream to install and worked perfectly. Saved the cost of a repair man, waiting for a part to arrive, another trip for a repair man, etc., etc. (and I'm a tiny 61 year old woman). If I can do it, you can do it.

Like a Glove!
As others have stated on here, the part works as advertised. My Whirlpool Quiet System III dishwasher would only fill intermittently. After reviewing online videos and researching for cause, I ended up with the inlet valve as the most likely culprit. The part arrived wrapped in bubble wrap inside a cardboard box only 2 days after I ordered it. Removed the part and installed it quickly. The bottom line is the dishwasher is repaired and works like it's designed. Awesome deal too!

We recieved this refrigerator quickly in the time given and was not damaged. Read instructions, cleaned, plugged in and everything is working. Good size with ample storage ability. Fairly quite operating which is good. Decent refrigerator but my reason for three stars was due to fact it doesn't get as cold as we would like even on its coldest setting. It is cool enough to keep food from spoiling which I suppose is the main point which is why I didn't return it but I wished it could cool to a few degrees cooler temperature. For those of you which like to have precise scientific numbers in reviews, sorry this isn't one of them-- I haven't put a thermometer inside to test at all sorts of capacities but I know that although drinks are cool they are not cold. The refrigerator this was replacing lasted over 4 years before lightening took it out and it could chill to just short of icy (and not even on its coldest setting). Awesome fridge. Not too heavy for its size, I could haul it upstairs to my home theater without too much effort. Very quiet, and it definitely keeps things cold. The only (slight) issue I had was playing around with the shelving inside to make some stuff fit. But that's not a reflection on the fridge. Overall, great product and I highly recommend it as a secondary fridge.

I will start by saying that finally, after installing two of these units in my 1500 sf workshop, I am very happy with them. They cool and heat very efficiently and quietly and there are not many units on the market which have the power and features of this one.

However, it was a long road getting to the happy point I am at now. I initially ordered two of these from Amazon, and they arrived quickly but both turned out to have been damaged in shipping. This is partially the truckers fault but a good deal of the blame must be laid on the manufacturer who does not package this model with sufficient protection to withstand the typical abuse which cartons endure in truck freight. There is is only about 1/2" of styrofoam between the front and top of the unit and the inside of the carton, and no crush space whatsoever. So both units arrived with bent case frames and one also had a cracked front grill piece and bent interior pieces.

Amazon offered to replace them but were...

Had One For Years and It Is Almost Great :)
This does not really have to be a long review to just let people know that assuming you don't have any shipping damage (as a few people have reported) this is a wonderful unit and works exactly as it says BUT what most people don't take time to read is that the HEATER is almost useless below 45 degrees, this is perfectly normal for a heat pump with no electric heat backup. Most people do not realize that their central unit has electric strips to produce heat when the heat pump cannot extract heat from very col and dry air. My solution to this was to purchase an oil filled radiator type heater like this DeLonghi TRD0715T Safeheat 1500W Portable Oil-Filled Radiator with Vertical Thermal Tunnels (this one is exceptional and I have bought about 4 for myself, friends and work) which I only have to use when the temps are very low. Nice little oven
I bought this to replace my 7 year old model of similar design which I used on a daily basis. It heats pretty evenly at a slightly higher temp than the previous one, I set it 25 degrees lower than suggested temps. The convection works well and is much quieter than the previous model, you can barely hear it. No bulge on the side, either. I subtracted a star due to the door design, it is difficult to pull stuff out without contacting the HOT lowered door because there is no space between the lowered door and the rack, so you can't grab the rack with a potholder easily.

These are my favorite bags for sous vide and freezer food storage. I use them with an impulse sealer similar to 8" Impulse Sealer - Cellophane Bag sealer, whenever I have sufficient liquid in the bag to expel the air. This purchase pair would be justified for freezing stock, alone, if you cannot imagine life without frozen stock always on hand. And stock is the easiest application to learn: One fills each bag with 2 to 3 cups of stock, using a yogurt container with the bottom cut out as a funnel. (It takes a smaller size to fit this bag.) Now place the impulse sealer by the edge of a counter, and hang the partially filled vacuum bag off the edge of the counter, draping the top portion over the sealer bar. Now squeeze the bag to coax out the air (setting up the sealer with a faint tip, and less pressure smoothing the high end encourages a path for the air, but isn't strictly necessary with practice). Vacuflo Turbo Cat Zoom Powerhead - Platinum 8702

More trouble than a vacuum should be!
We bought a house that has central vac, I got this attachment 3 months ago after doing some research. It seemed to be the best choice, it is not! It barely works!
just about anything will jam the turbine up. Even dog hair! We have 2 dogs, I vacuum 2-3 times a week and every other time we use this we have to completely disassemble it and clean out every little part! Also, every time you use it, sometimes twice per use, you have to clean off the rotating brush part, even a very small amount of material collected on it will make it not function properly. This thing is more trouble than it is worth!! Even when it is perfectly clean, it doesn't do a great job. We never ever had these problems with our good old kenmore canister! I'm thinking about switching back.

Better than previous model
We previously had a turbo cat (without the "zoom") that pretty much died after about 10 years. The Zoom model works better than the previous model when it was new. Even the kids had to try it out and they vaccum less than a solar eclipes would occur.

Works fine.
This vacuum head works better than my old one but it is not the amazing tool I was hoping it would be. There just doesn't seem to be a combination of parts for this kind of central vac that make it really work super well.

Durathon Full Size Digital Iron

Electrical Short but Hamilton Beach Warranty Great
This was a great iron the first time I used it. Since it is 1700 watts, It gets hot enough to iron the wrinkles out of clothes easily. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later when I used it again, there seems to be an electrical short which causes a power surge in my electrical outlet. I tried more than one outlet in my home with the same results. I was past the 30 days return policy with Amazon for this product, so I could not exchange it for a replacement. I called Hamilton Beach support and by providing a minimal amount of information on the iron to them, they are sending me a new iron. Great customer service from Hamilton Beach!

Heavy - steam shoots out when placing upright
No matter what I do, when returning the iron to an upright position when on steam setting, it spews alot of steam in a big burst. Also I would not get the cord rewind again. The cord holder at the base makes it heavier. But it does really iron well with alot of steam. I should have bought the cheaper version. Not worth the extra $$.

Sold New but was Used
Eventhough the Amazon gods didn't like my first two reviews, the iron is doing a great job. It is simple to use and warms up fairly quickly compared to my old Rowenta iron. The Durathon does a good job of getting the wrinkles out without a starch spray. My only "complaint" is that the sole plate is not as smooth as the stainless steel Rowenta.

These are real Kirby bags, not an off brand that will fit a Kirby. They are very durable. I have never had one break.

Real Kirby Bag???
I purchased this particular item because people said it is a real Kirby Bag. It looks nothing like mine. My Kirby bags are cloth, and reusable. These are brown paper bags. I have never used brown paper bags in the 10 plus years I have own our Kirby Gsix. Unfortunately, there is no Kirby dealer around us so I took a chance ordering these on Amazon. I will keep these as a backup and continue searching for the cloth ones as I don't trust paper bags.

MaxiMatic EPM-250 Elite Classic Tabletop Retro-Style 2-1/2-Ounce Kettle Popcorn Popper Machine

easy to use
The Maxi-Matic EPM-250, i had found this popcorn popper very easy to use. It comes with measure tools to get the right amount of oil and popcorn. I am on a diet, that allows me to have a snack of 6 cups of popcorn after popping. This makes the right amount (small bag of movie size popcorn). After the unit cool down, just add 6 oz. of water and turn back on for a couple minutes to boil water. Let it cool down again and you can empty the water and wipe it clean. The tray, i wash with soap and water after each use. It was worth the money.

Didn't do it for us
We had great hopes for this product, but will likely return it.

What we liked.

It is attractive looking and, for the nature of the product, the overall size of the entire box is small enough. I wouldn't want it any smaller as steam has to escape when popping corn.

What we didn't like.

The popping pot is too small. It produces enough popped corn for one person. That may be perfectly suitable for a single person or for two people who eat little popcorn, except for one problem. Because the pot is small, the lid is small. Popped corn is large. We find that the popped corn cannot escape through the lid as it should because it jams at the small opening. When it is finally forced through and we try to dump the remaining popped corn from the pot, it too jams, making it difficult to get the popped corn out.

It takes a long time to make popcorn. The first batch requires three minutes for the oil to heat, then about another three...

Great Popcorn Maker
Picked up this popcorn maker a few weeks ago, just before my daughter's birthday party--thought it would be a great way to entertain 10 crazy kids...... It worked perfectly! It was a nice addition to the event and it helped me keep all those kids contained (as much as kids at party can be hahahaha). Looked at comparable popcorn makers, but this was one had the lowest price; however, it proved to be a great buy. It is convenient, easy to use, and the warming light allows me to keep the popcorn fresh. It has a great design and it is of great quality--overall a great buy. It allowed me to keep my daughter and her friends entertained. It will definitely be a staple for future parties.

Excellent Return on Investment!
Of all the kitchen appliances I own, I really think my return on investment is greatest with this one. I've had it a year now, so I'm no longer in the "honeymoon phase" with it - and I've really used it on average 3 times per week throughout the entire year.

I bought this after I wore out my cheaper version slow cooker, and I knew that this time I was willing to spend a little more money (since I knew how to use it), and I knew I wanted a larger capacity.

It's very easy to clean the removable crock, the settings available are warm, low, and high, and you can program (to within a half hour) the length of cook time. When cook time is up, the machine switches to warm on its own.

The capacity is such that I CAN fit 2 whole chickens in it, I can also cook 2 tri tip roasts (2.5 -3 lbs each) or one large pot roast, however the cooking is still even when the pot is not near full (i.e. I often cook only one chicken or one tri-tip, and the cook time is still...

Busy mom's best friend
I work almost everyday (including Sundays) so this pot has been my life saver (or the dinner saver). My older one was 5qt. cool touch Rival. This All-Clad cooker cooks so much faster than my older one (the inside temperature of All-clad gets 230F in high setting). Ribs and 5 pound chicken done in 4 hours in high. If you want crispy chicken skin, let it cook for 6 hours. I highly recommend this product.

By the way I put small roasting rack when I roast chicken or ribs so that they don't stew in the dripping. Save the dripping broth. Put it in the fridge overnight, and get rid of the fat. And use it in your soup or stew, of course, this cooker can do that job just fine as well.

Boy did I learn!
I have purchased this product for myself as well as gifts for several brides-to-be. I thought All-Clad meant quality. Well, did I learn. Not only did my ceramic insert crack after several uses, but several of the gifts I had give also cracked [one wasn't even used once, one was used once & a third was used two times]. Trying to return something to All-Clad is next to impossible. They do not respond to one's email and I finally gave up trying to reach them via phone. I also have cookware ware from All-Clad, and one of the frying pans has discolored. Again, impossible to reach this company. I am done with All-Clad products. Good luck if you get this slow cooker. Toasting Strong Out Of The Box
I am aware of the number of negative reviews on this and other brands of the same product so the reading was carefully done and it came down to this one after about three days of examining various remarks on different sites. It's not easy picking one because these wine refrigs come across as sensitive and not really durable or built for longevity. Once I subtracted the extraordinary negative reviews for the different brands, which must come from competitors, and try to estimate how many dumbazzes do not treat the appliance properly during set up, then I got the percentage of reviews I needed to determine who prevailed. SO LOUD YOU HAVE TO TURN THE TV UP
I have another Wine Enthusiast Wine fridge and it is so silent you can't hear it. This one hums so loud you have to turn the TV up in the next room. It's horrible. Don't buy. I'm returning it as soon as I can figure out how to ship it back. I feel like I have the humming tell-tale heart in the other room.

Hydrofarm ACF16 16-Inch Active Air Wall Mount Fan

WORST FAN EVER
I purchased two of these, one stopped working within a month the other still works, but does not oscillate. The one that broke all together I took apart, and made it start working, at least on high, and if you jumpstart the blades. Ive had a lot of hydrofarm products, and this is by far the worst piece of gear I have ever bought.

I purchased 4 pf these - all but ne broke.. Three replacements broke. All I did was mount them and turn them on.. I did not abuse them. These are the worst junk of my life!!! Rattles and makes noise
I have had two of these fans for more than six months and they both 'shimmy.' They make unwanted mechanical noise (not just created by the fan moving air) and require frequent adjustments to try to keep them quiet. Still, once they decide to become quiet they run solidly and move lots of air quietly. I like the pull cord design and they mount easily with two screws.

Kenmore Elite He 3t 4t 5t Washer water Pump - Right product, Right price.
I am personally not a big fan of getting bent over by a company when I buy a replacement part to fix their broken product. So after calling the service department for Kenmore and getting quoted just shy of $200 shipped for the whole pump assembly with the housing and stuff that I really didn't need (they wouldn't sell just the pump) I decided to look elsewhere.

Amazon=awesome.

The pump arrived and after about half an hour and with the assistance of a pair of pliers to undo the hose clamps and a screwdriver to take out half a dozen screws, the old pump was off and the new one was on.

It's been a couple of months now and it is still working like a champ.

Whirlpool W10190965 Icemaker for Refrigerator

small issue, big problem
received item in short time frame, replaced old unit transferring wire bail. seemed to work but discovered that when bail went up to unload new batch bail stuck up stopping ice production. after contacting company about my issue was informed that all returns must be in original packaging or they would not exchange or refund. they would give me a discount on a new purchase (i think i will pass). furthermore due to false claims in the past (my first and last purchase) item must be returned for proper diagnosis. if item is found defective then they will ship replacement. seems like a lot for a less than $50 item. no mention is made on sale page about these stipulations. i discovered by chance that removing bail from rear guide and it now works like a champ. i buy a lot online and this is the shabbiest treatment ever.

Installed and running in minutes

The ice maker came with no instructions but if you managed to get the old one out, this one slides in fairly easily by reversing the process. There was an odd plastic piece screwed to the bottom of the unit which I removed and the bolted on the sliding shelf piece that was attached to my old unit. I plugged the unit in, slid it back into place and within 15-20 minutes the tray was already filled with water.

Make sure you let the first several batches go through and then throw away the ice to make sure you're not getting any manufacturing contaminants. I wiped the unit out a little and then let it run over night and dumped what it had created just to be paranoid.

If you replace this item and you're still having trouble, be sure to check the blinking LED on the side of the freezer that is the sensor/indicator light (assuming your model is like mine). There's a pattern to the LED blinks. On mine, it would blink twice,...

Ice cube guide
The ice maker replacement works fine. Note that our frig requires a different ice guide. That's the big white piece in the front. This part has a flat front but our OEM had a ramp guide. Without the ramp guide, your ice will eject all over the place inside your freezer. I was able to completely disassemble the old and new unit to replace the ice guide with the OEM guide. Pop the cover on the left side, remove the two silver screws only that hold the ice-tray to the motor assembly. Do not take apart the motor housing screws! Once the two screws are out, you can separate the tray assembly from the motor housing to replace the guide.

PERFECT SIZE; DOES A GOOD JOB!
I really love this incredible kitchen gadget. It toasts my muffins, bagels, skinny bagels, as well as warms breakfast sandwiches. The top eating element will accommodate an egg or egg-beater, and I've even added a couple of strips of ready-made bacon (to go with the egg) on top as well. The coffee maker does exactly what I want: it makes just enough coffee for me in the morning. The size of the machine is small enough to place on my counter top, and it does everything it claims to do. I never knew products like this existed. I may buy another one as Christmas present for a friend of mine, who would benefit from one of these machines greatly.

Great way to start the day !
Simple way to start the day with a egg hard broiled on top, a muffin and bagel in the oven, and all with the coffee brewing on the side. Easy to cook and clean all in a space saving device.

Needs better design
I'm no engineer, but I am a skilled handyman. The tedious and time-consuming task of inserting a replacement filter properly -- that is, making sure each flimsy plastic comb (6 in number) is weaved between each fold of the filter one at a time, without ripping the filter fabric, and then snapping each flimsy plastic clip onto the housing frame without breaking a one...let's just say the product engineers dropped the ball. Or maybe not, maybe it was done on purpose so that you would need to replace the combs. Replacement filters should be integrated with the frame and combs as one unit, regardless of higher cost. Then the task of replacing the filters would be done in a few minutes, nearly as easily as a normal furnace filter.

Well made with quality materials. Two different size boards, handle most sleeves and slacks. Delivery was fast and material came through untouched (not crushed or damaged). I waited a long time to find a board the fits our needs and this seems to perfect.

Bissell #32064 Style9 Pleat Filter

No foam filter!
Do not order from this vendor. The description states that it is a 2-pack that has both the pleated filter and the foam filter, but it arrived as just the pleated filter. The vendor had a Bissell #32064 sticker on the bag the single filter arrived in, which is not the correct product number if you are ordering only the pleated filter. On their website, Bissell product #32064 is for the set of both foam and pleated filters. Amazon did however do a great job accepting the return and sending a replacement from a different vendor.

It is not a two pack
It says its a two pack and also shows the picture as a two pack including the foam filter, but it is not. It only comes a single filter, you have to order the foam filter seperately. So be careful!

Capresso H2O Plus Water Kettle, Matte Silver, 48-Ounce

Neat but not silver
Great kitchen item (see other reviews). Pretty design BUT... I gave 4 stars not 5 due to the hassle of having to exchange the 1st unit I got in "matte silver" -- which in person is really gray plastic (not at all the stainless steel look I expected). I sent it back and got the chrome, much classier.

WARNING: Hazardess to your health!
I bought this kettle because I loved the glass carafe and that I could see the contents of the kettle and I really liked the overall design. But I was completely disgusted with the results!

I always use filtered water for cooking and drinking because I am quite sensative to tastes and odors in my water. The filtered water I put in this kettle tasted FINE, but after the boiling routine was complete, the water smelled and tasted like a swimming pool. I took a sip of tea I made from this kettle and spit it across the room (a la Kramer)! The most foul chemical smell and taste I have ever known. I cannot believe that anyone else using this kettle, or in fact the manufacturer, would not notice it. I washed the kettle with soap and emptied it after each use, but even after a week, the same foul contamination was occuring as a result of heating the water in this kettle. If I left a small amount of water in the kettle for even an hour, I could watch a thick chemical buildup forming...

Super fast boiling kettle!
We've had this kettle for a couple of months now, and we're really happy with it - it's not a big kettle - I actually thought/wish it would be a little bigger, but on the upside it boils water super, super fast - it's a great thing especially in morning rush :-) I would definitely recommend buying this kettle!

I just used this blender for the first time, and I really like it.
After using an extremely loud, cheap blender for several years; this is a great experience.
It is quite quiet on all speeds; although when I used the Pulse option it was a little unnerving. This may have had more to do with the surface I had the blender sitting on, than the actual blender.
It is fast and powerful.
The way the entire carafe and attached bottom assembly with blade rests on top of the blender base is a bit awkward at first. I'm accustomed to the old style--turn and lock the blender carafe to the blender base. The way this works is more convenient--but I'll need a little time to retrain myself!
I'd recommend this blender. The price on Amazon was the BEST price available. Almost no retailer (online or brick and mortar) came close to this price.

Reseal & Save Bag Sealer - Storage Bag Sealer

It works...but not for daily use.
I needed something to seal small treat bags. The heating/sealing strip of this little guy is approx 6 inches long. I cannot stress enough that your batteries must be brand-spanking-new when you use this or it just will not get hot enough to seal. I double sealed about 20 little bags one evening, so I basically used it 40 times, one right after the the other. The next day, I had to put fresh batteries in it and it was the same story the following day. Due to this, I would not recommend this for a daily use on your kitchen counter, I just don't beleive it would work. It takes 6 AA batteries so that's a lot to change on a consistent basis. Although the batteries that you pull out of it don't have enough juice to heat it sufficiently, the batteries are not actually shot, they can be used in TV remotes and small stuff like that.

Make sure to use NEW batteries. I love that it has an on/off switch on the side.

NutriMill Classic Grain Mill w/Mini Seed Mill

I feel all domestic-y and stuff!
It all started with sourdough starter and it's been all downhill from there. I started baking bread while home on medical leave after a brain hemorrhage. I couldn't focus on a book, walk and chew gum at the same time, or watch TV but I could follow a recipe so I made bread. Lots of bread. Lots and lots of bread every single day for like a month. There are only two of us in the house.

That helped me to become a halfway decent bread baker, particularly once I was able to think again. So then I decided it would be cool to grind my own grain. I was trying to reform the last part of my diet (and my husband was following) to eat really cleanly. I have been beating off Paleo fans with a stick every time they evangelize to me about the evils of grain, particularly wheat, but I did like the idea of non GMO wheat flour. Unfortunately that's super expensive and while I'm willing to make the sacrifice (because it isn't like buying a grain mill was cheap) it made me want to look into...

Great deal with free shipping and the spice grinder
We purchased the Nutrimill so we can grind out own rice flour. We recently have gone Gluten free and being able to grind our own flour will save soo much money. It works great for both rice an corn. IT was nice that the spice grinder came with it for free. It works great and is soo easy to clean. What a great deal!!

Nice but large
I chose this grinder becuz it seemed to come in one piece. however, to get the height at the top so that you can pour your grain in, it makes it super tall that it won't fit in any of my cabinets. To store it, I have to detach that piece every time. Also, when the unit arrived, even tho i had seen it in person at my neighbors, when I saw it in my medium sized kitchen I was in shock at how large it was. For someone who likes empty and clear counterspace when I'm not cooking, this is a huge issue. However, if you are going to leave it on your counter and not care, then this would be a great machine. It does look great and streamlined and it does grind like a dream. Super easy and quick.

Rowenta VU5551U1 Turbo Silence 4-Speed Pedestal Fan with Remote Control, 16-Inch, Bronze

A tad overpriced, but worth it
First off, my friends know me as the "Crazy Fan Lady". I need to sleep with a fan and have a very narrow threshold of temperatures I can deal with. Living in Seattle, we have no air-conditioning and considering that we live in a townhouse, the upstairs gets extremely warm as the internal air-circulation is really poor. I have tried all kinds and all brands of fans and currently own three Vornados (including the 660) and the Lasko 20" Cyclone Fan. I've had fans cheap and expensive, box fans, table fans, pedestal fans and clip-on fans. The problem with most fans I've come across is two-fold: (a) They're usually pretty damn loud (b) They don't move enough air if it's not pointed directly at you.

While I love the Vornado 660, I don't think it's quiet powerful enough for a 15 x 15 living room. Also, I need to put it on a stool so that it sits by the sliding door and pulls air in. I wanted a stand-alone pedestal fan that looked nice, wasn't loud (I mean, who can play video games...

Luv This Fan
Just received and assembled this fan today. Although I've only had the fan for a few hours I am extremely happy with it. I've been searching for the past two summers for a fan with some style, decorative I guess you can say.

I didn't want the typical white plastic oscillating fan(from a local hardware store), nor did I want a industrial style fan(hunter gunmetal fan). And just as importantly, I wanted a quite fan. So far so good. This fan meets all my needs. It was very easy to assemble. It took 15 min and all I needed was a phillips screwdriver.

Here are a few tips to help you with your decision to purchase this fan.

Some of the parts are plastic,(but not cheap tacky plastic). The blades are plastic, which you can see from the picture. This might be why some of the previous reviewers stated that it doesn't blow a lot of air. I believe that has to do with the size of the room you use the fan in. Gorgeous, powerful, quiet, durable
I bought the Rowenta desk fan for my bedroom and liked it so much that I went for this one for my living room.

This floor fan is really neat, even better than the desk one as it comes with a remote control. And the looks are really great! Some reviewers complain that the head is shaky, this is absolutely not the case with mine, it is very stable, I just made sure it was well secured on the pole... Definitely better and more stable than any under $100 I've had before.

I also own a Vornado 660 Whole Room Air Circulator, 4 Speeds in another room, I can tell that the Rowenta is more powerful and quieter. It does take more space but it looks so nice in my living room, I actually love it!

GE WB48K5019 Lower Oven Rack for Oven

It's just right!
I needed an extra oven rack. Tried Home Depot and Lowe's to no avail. My philosophy is, "If Amazon doesn't have it, I don't need it." Of course Amazon had a lot to choose from, and unfortunately, none of them came with measurements, and my stove is so old it doesn't have a model number. I read a review on one of the other racks which said to count the grids on your present rack and match that number to one that has the same number of grids. Voila! It arrived, it fit perfectly! So, if you're looking for an oven rack, the method of counting the grids should work for you too. Thanks, Amazon!

I needed this!
I had left the old ones in the oven during cleaning (don't!) and they'd lost all surface slid ability. These fit my 12 yr old Kenmore stove perfectly.

It fits!
We bought a foreclosure and the oven rack was missing. It's one of those things that your never notice how much you use until it's not there! We were extremely pleased to find that it fit our oven (GE Model JP15W).

Good product, great price
I work in a Residence Hall at a large university and we purchased this for use at our programs and events. We've had the machine for almost a year now with no problems. Its fairly easy to put together and works great. Its very cute and adds a nice touch to any event. We purchased the one on the trolley and also a tabletop version. The trolley is great for portability and you can store things in the compartment underneath. Its also handy to have the little shelf to put salt shakers, bags, etc. The machine came with the scooper, measuring spoons, salt shaker, etc. Works great with the prepackaged all-in-one popcorn packs designed for these machines.

Exceeded expectations
We love this popcorn popper! What a great Christmas present. It far exceeded our expectations. It has a warmer, light and stirrer. The capacity is great (8 qt), and it makes a cup of unpopped popcorn at a time (enough for a family of four). It's easy to clean and looks great. Highly recommended.

Beautiful!!
Beautiful, well designed. Bigger than some that are out there. Only complaint is that poor shipping quality. Box was beat up so badly. Machine had major dents on the top metal piece. Don't recommend as a gift if the person who you are giving it to lives in your house as it says EXACTLY what it is on the outside of the box. Makes good popcorn though.

Hamilton Beach 3 Liter Deep Fryer Digital Timer

Great Deep Fryer
First off, this is my first deep fryer so I can not compare this to others which Im sure are very good as well.

I recived this Hamilton Beach deep fryer as a gift being I have been getting intrested in fried foods at home.

I really enjoy this fryer alot. It is built very well. Very easy to operate too. It heats up nicely and even has a timer.

Just a note, the timer dosn't turn off the fryer when done, which isn't a problem with me at all. The only thing I see is that the battery for the timer appears to be incased and cant replace if it goes out, but it really seems to be working perfectly.

This fryer is not only easy to set up and use, but cleaning was a major concern to me before getting any fryer. This thing is very easy to disassemble and clean.

Nice deep basket. I had alittle problem with my beer battered fish and chicken sticking to the bottom of the basket after I pulled a batch, but this has nothing to do with the fryer,...

An Entry Level Fryer
I purchased this fryer, never having used one prior, because of its 12-cup capacity and for how easy to use it was made to seem. It has the timer, viewing window, claimed to be very simple to clean. While these claims aren't exactly untrue, with the money you're spending, these features are pretty standard. There are cheaper fryers that function more like deep buckets to put oil in but this is certainly several steps up from that. Though, the truth is that its just a basic fryer. Clean up (as you might imagine) is a bit of a pain if you're using this on a semi-regular basis. And, frankly, you NEED to use it on a pretty regular basis in order to get your money's worth. The 96 oz. of oil needed to get this thing going makes it an expensive novelty if only for occasional use. I do enjoy this fryer; it keeps its temperatures well, the green "ready" light also (possibly incidentally) lets you know where the temperature level is at, roughly, by flashing on when its reached its set temp. Given as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She was very happy with the product stating it was better with cooking times than her last fryer. The "well" was deep enough to cook a family of five enough chicken at one time.

Right item came quick
I was very impressed with the speed that the item came. Our other one somehow melted when it came off. I was so glad when I found the right part for our dishwasher. Fit perfectly. Very happy.

Good replacement
Melted the last one. It is mostly plastic except at the ends where there are metal plates; While cleaning the dishwasher; I didn't snap the sprayer back in place and the sprayer's plastic arms melted on the heating element. The replacement I received was a perfect replacement. I didn't know the part number; I took a chance that the picture was an accurate representation.

After three months still going strong
I am very happy we purchased this replacement arm for our dishwasher. Our old one jumped the track and got scorched during a dry cycle. This arm connected right in and have had no problems. Excellent quality and a great price!

LG Electronics MCK49049101 Dryer Lint Filter Cover

Replaces factory OEM lint filter pieces
Our lint filter would not seat correctly and needed to replace it because it was tearing up clothes.
DO NOT just replace one piece - get all three pieces for a proper fit. Most likely the pieces in the dryer have become deformed due to improper seating and heat.
Small price to pay for the three pieces compared to damaging hundreds of dollars worth of clothing!

The pieces needed are:
1) LG - ZENITH MCK49049101 COVER GUIDE OEM ORIGINAL PART
2) LG - ZENITH MEA49050001 GUIDE FILTER OEM ORIGINAL PART
3) LG OEM ADQ56656401 FILTER Assembly,LINT

I replaced all three pieces in 20 mins with a Ryobi cordless drill an setting 1.
Be sure to use the lowest drill setting or the screw holes could get stripped.

What we needed + fast and cheap shipping to Canada
I'm not sure how much can be said about a dryer lint cover other than it was the part we needed (the original was warped and broken due to a loose screw and our warranty had expired by the time it became an issue). Quality is on par with the original and it fit perfectly.

3M Filtrete Bissell 8 & 14 Vacuum Filter, 1 Pack

Fits perfectly, works as expected
I really don't know what you can say about a vacuum filter set, but I can at least let everyone know what it goes with. I have an Bissell Pet Eraser vacuum, and these filters fit perfectly. It is pretty amazing how dirty the filters can get; I actually am not even sure I knew that the Bissell Pet Eraser vacuum had these 2 filters at first. Initially, I was just cleaning out the big canister thingy and the piece inside which collected all the dust/hair. However, one day I realized there were these other filters on the vacuum (I never read the manual obviously), and they were filthy. For anyone unaware, one filter is located on the side and one is located directly below the main canister bin. I change mine about once every 6 months (along with the giant rubber band belts that go up under the vacuum, which break often apparently - but good thing is they are cheap and easy to replace). Great filter, here's what's in the package
If you're wondering as I was about what is in this package, mine just came and here goes. Go by what is pictured, you get the sponge AND the filter in this package, not just the filter. The wording in this advertisement isn't very clear so I just took a chance and ordered it to see if I received what is pictured. You do - and the sponge is in the same package.

The filter itself is just great, even better than the one my Pet Hair Eraser came with, in my opinion. And I'm very thrilled to have a second sponge backup - seems like every time I decide to wash mine, I need the vacuum before it is dry. Great, great product - glad to have found this! Highly recommend!

Waring Commercial WPG150 Compact Italian-Style Panini Grill, 120-volt

Solid as a Rock
This panini maker is awesome. Weighs a ton but that is because you get two solid cast iron grills top and bottom. This is heavy duty stuff. However, it does not take up more space than a regular grill because it is taller, not necessarily wider. After reading the reviews about snap on grills of others and losing heat top/bottom, there was no way I was going to chince on a non-commercial grill. This is the only way to go.

A little small
Tis unit works great only thing is the size is a little smaller than quoted on site. But it will hold 3 wraps or 3 paninis. Used in a very busy deli and it does the trick.

My FAVORITE popper
I love this popcorn popper. My husband won it during a greedy grab a few Christmas's ago. Once i figured out my ratio of oil to popcorn, I fell in love!! It does a GREAT job, great tasting popcorn, I put it in the dishwasher to clean it. I haven't had any issues of the red paint coming off. I have broken 2. :( But continue to order more because I love it so much! I would HIGHLY recommend this popper.

Best dishwasher EVER!
This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. It has a little red light that shines on the floor to let you know it's running, which is needed because otherwise you might not even hear it and know its on. The dishes come out spotless and it has so much room that I almost run out of dishes before it's even 3/4 full. The top rack for knives and other small items is great also. I have never enjoyed washing a load of dishes this much in my life. I have an open kitchen that faces into my great room and doing dishes was always a problem due to the noise, which interfered with the TV, so I always had to do dishes at night.. No more. I can do dishes anytime and no one even knows the unit is running. I cannot say enough good things about this dishwasher, it is so great. I've had it over 2 months now and still love everything about it. I am so glad I purchased this and would highly recommend it to anyone considering buying a dishwasher. Excellent Dishwasher
We've had our new dishwasher for about a month, and the verdict is in. The dishwasher is FANTASTIC. And yes, it's so quiet that you can't tell it's running, hence the light that shines on the floor when it is running. We've actually stood next to it with our ear to the door to see if it really was running. It's LARGE, it fits many more items than our old DW. The 3rd rack for silverware and other small items allows much more room on the bottom shelf. The top shelf is optimized and has little ridges so tall glasses don't fall down in the row. And it cleans very well, spotless shiny dishes. It's optimzed for tablets and comes with a box of Finish, which I really like and may switch to permanently. If you are in the market for a new DW, definitely look at this model or anyone that has a 3rd rack.
