replaced belt for my kenmore dryer
Kenmore (Sears) dryer stopped working, but I could hear the engine/blower work. Troubleshooting (opening the door really fast as I turned it on) confirmed it was not tumbling.
Did a google search and saw information that it could be the belt and that it would be an easy fix.
I proceeded to unscrew all the screws in view, and opened it up, and saw that the belt did indeed break.
Started another google search to find the right belt replacement, and came down to this item. While searching for the belt, found this video on DIY installation [...] of the belt.
Ordered the item, waited a couple days, then installed it no problem. Within 15 minutes, everything was back as it was and dryer was working fine.
Sense of accomplishment and feeling of amazing lasted a few days, and I still get that tingling feeling when I hear the dryer running and know that yes, I fixed you.
Right part for the right price.
it's a belt... not too much to go wrong here. Right part for the right price. My squeaky dryer is no more. Thanks for matching up the parts.
