I love these type of cookers, but this one didn't have a chance.
It was broke when it arrived. The plastic handle was broken right out of the box. The heating lamp flashed once and then never worked again. I returned it to Amazon, and today got an e-mail that it was undeliverable. I'm still waiting for a refund.
Versatile
This countertop oven almost does it all. Thaws better than a microwave, cooks frozen meals in 1/2 the time, bakes , broils, and toasts. The Secura is one of the more efficient and well made turbo convection ovens. It is easy to clean and when the lid is place upside down in the unit it fits below or inside the cabinets.

I had one of these about 15 years ago and did not keep it, I was so afraid of dropping the extremely heavy lid and lamp, However; I am very pleased with the alterations on this unit now. It is sooo much lighter in weight, and it's much easier to clean.and has a great timer and temp. settings. I also like that there is now a convection fan so the food cooks much quicker and it browns beautifully.
I have to give it four stars only because the plastic white handles that hold the bottom base were stressed cracked right out of the box. They should have made the whole bottom holding tray from metal. I guess for the low price you can't have everything. Tip: I used a super glue type product and slathered it on the base over the cracks. Seems to hold, but I DO NOT lift the unit up by the
handles. You have to let it cool anyway before cleaning, so I just deal with the glass bowl..
